Terms and Conditions (Eastern Harmony Mental Health)

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Eastern Harmony Mental Health website (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) About Us
Eastern Harmony Mental Health is a nonprofit organization. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Eastern Harmony Mental Health (“EHMH”).
2) Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe the rights of others
Interfere with the Site’s operation or security
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.
3) No Medical Advice / No Emergency Services
Content on this Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not medical or clinical advice.
If you are in crisis or think you may have an emergency:

Call/text 988 (U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or
Seek immediate help from qualified professionals.
4) Programs, Events, Registration, and Donations
A. Event/program details may change. Dates, times, venues, speakers, and programming may be updated. We will try to post updates, but it is your responsibility to confirm details.
B. Registrations. By registering, you agree to provide accurate information.
C. Donations and payments. Payments may be processed by third parties (e.g., Square, Eventbrite). Additional terms may apply through those providers. To the extent permitted by law, donations are generally non-refundable, unless stated otherwise for a specific campaign or event.
5) Volunteer / Participant Conduct
If you participate in events or volunteer opportunities, you agree to:
Follow event rules, venue policies, and safety guidance
Treat others with respect; harassment or disruptive behavior is not permitted
Comply with any age requirements or consent requirements where applicable
EHMH may refuse participation or remove individuals for safety or policy reasons.
6) Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (text, logos, graphics, photos, video, and design) is owned by EHMH or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for personal, noncommercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
7) User Submissions
If you submit content to us (e.g., messages, feedback, form responses, testimonials, photos you provide), you represent you have the right to do so.
Unless otherwise agreed, you grant EHMH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your submission for our nonprofit purposes (such as program administration, outreach, marketing, and impact reporting), subject to applicable privacy laws and any specific consent choices you provide.
8) Photo/Video Release (Events)
By attending an EHMH event or program (in person or virtual), you understand that photos, audio, and video may be recorded. Unless you notify us in advance where feasible, you grant EHMH permission to use your likeness and/or voice in event documentation and promotional materials for nonprofit purposes, without compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
9) Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may include links to third-party websites or tools (e.g., Google Forms, Eventbrite, Square). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
10) Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EHMH will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or participation in EHMH programs/events.
If liability is found, EHMH’s total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to EHMH through the Site in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater, unless otherwise required by law.
12) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EHMH and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from claims arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
13) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Venue for disputes will be in the state or federal courts located in LA County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, Orange County, California, unless otherwise required by law.
14) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date indicates when changes were made. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
